Perfect in every way. What a wonderful place to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. Had a lovely meal in Café Sia. Enjoyed a rather scary ride over to Applecross via Bealach na Ba – Pass of the Cattle, well worth it. Our third visit to Skye, and certainly not the last, it keeps calling us back.

Thank you for the welcome pack, we’ve enjoyed another week in this lovely cottage. The weather has been changeable but we’ve managed to have some lovely walks. On Raasay we saw an otter in a little bay, we watched it for about 15 minutes before it scampered over rocks and out of sight. We also saw an otter on Friday from the cottage. It was fishing up and down in front of the window for half an hour. What a lovely way to end our holiday. We hope to be back very soon.

Thank you for the welcome pack and lovely cottage. We have had a wonderful two weeks in Seaside Beag which is home from home and views that meant it was hard to go out and visit other areas of the island. On Sunday we walked to the New Pier and had views of an otter. On our return to the cottage and sat having lunch an otter appeared on the rocks with a fish. We had two more otter sightings over the two weeks. We visited most of the area, we have been on Skye many times and it was like the first time. We will return to Seaside next year.

Another fantastic holiday at Seaside Beag and Skye. Weather was great, saw some beautiful scenery. Great pizza at the Siaway and nice fish and chips from the chip shop. Sitting outside we saw seals, herons, a golden eagle and an osprey. We even saw a submarine sail past. We look forward to coming back. P.S. saw the otter on our last day.

As we are both retired we take holidays and breaks throughout Scotland as often as we can, but this is the best accommodation we have ever experienced – truly exceptional! The short break is over too soon, but we will be back! The best meals we had were at the Old Inn, Carbost and dinner along the road at the Claymore.

Another wonderful week at Seaside Beag (5th time). Weather great (most of the time). Wildlife good, eagles at Eynort, Talisker and Kylerhea. No otter sightings form the cottage, but recommend Kylerhea otter hide for good views of otters and seals. Café Sia for tasty pizzas. Hope to return again soon.

A week in this lovely cottage just flies past! We had three lovely days and three wet and windy ones, but staying in and looking at the view is no hardship here. We can thoroughly recommend Café Sia, the Gabbro Bar and the Harbour restaurant for food. We were also thrilled to visit the new Torabhaig Distillery on its very first day of public opening.

We have lost track of time here at Beag. It’s been such a magical trip that we have been transported to a different planet here in Skye and this note is hastily written because we wanted to stay as long as possible. Wonderful weather even when it’s cloudy and windy. Great hikes around the beaches and in the Cuillins. My second time in Skye but by far the best. No otters sighted but the urchins they pull up from the chilly depths are impressive themselves. I hope to reread this note within a decade.

A wonderful one week stay here. A mixed bag of weather but that only added to the holiday. The cottage is wonderful and really well equipped even down to flasks which came in handy for my hike up the Cuillins! I saw and photographed the resident otter while slightly offshore, great northern divers, Slavonian grebe, black guillemots and red breasted mergansers were all present! Thank you for the excellent welcome pack. I will look forward to a return soon.

Thank you for the welcome pack on our arrival which was greatly appreciated. We’ve had another wonderful stay at your beautiful little cottage, everything is just perfect. We’ve seen seals at Torrin and also the otter came to see us yesterday in the bay outside the lounge. Decided to travel on trains and buses this year instead of the long drive. It was an amazing journey as the snow made the scenery so much more beautiful if that is possible. From the train, Glasgow to Fort William, we saw literally hundreds of stags and deer. Hopefully we’ll be back before too long.

Booked in for a week but could have stayed longer. Cottage is perfect and wild life on the shore even better. Watched the otter fishing and coming on the shore to eat. Also saw the herons most mornings. Not bad weather for December – until hurricane Caroline visited us on Thursday. We would like to make our next visit earlier in the year so we can sit on the deck and enjoy the views. We have stayed in quite a few cottages in the past but this has been one of the best!

We’ve had a lovely week on Skye. The cottage is perfect, it had everything we needed and more. The views were amazing! We have really enjoyed our week in this lovely cottage. The views are amazing and we have enjoyed watching the herons and even saw the otter playing in the water. Visited many places Applecross, Elgol, Dunvegan, Carbost…the Oyster Shed is a must. We even did the turntable ferry. The road to Kylerhea is not for the faint hearted but is really well worth it. Really looking forward to returning to this beautiful island.

Sunshine and blue skies for most of the week meant for most of the week we were able to take long walks at Neist Point, Armadale and Glen Sligachan.
